In London, England, on May 28, 2017, Paul Rodgers returned to his roots, bringing fans an extraordinary evening celebrating the music of Free. This sold out concert at the Royal Albert Hall was captured for a live CD / DVD set to be released by Quarto Valley Records in spring 2018.

Of the track, Ritter says, “I wrote ‘Miles Away’ a few years ago after flipping through a book of photos of the Earth from space. Zack Hickman produced it and plays most of the instruments on the song.  I didn’t quite know what to do with song, so I held on to it.

Craft Recordings, the Catalog division of Concord Music, is pleased to announce a deluxe vinyl box set celebrating Allen Ginsberg's iconic Howl And Other Poems, one of the most important pieces of modern American literature. Due out February 23rd, the collection offers Ginsberg's recording of the poems, pressed on translucent red vinyl - reproducing the original 1959 LP release, as well as a replica of the synonymous book of poetry, published in 1956 by City Lights for their Pocket Poets series.

In the wake of California’s largest wildfire in modern history, Carpinteria’s own Dishwalla played a sold-out concert at the Alcazar Theatre. Formerly known as the Carpinteria Plaza Playhouse Theater, the gem of a venue, with accidental perfect acoustics has returned to its original name, Alcazar Theatre. Carpinteria Community Theatre Inc. who runs the venue renamed the theater based on its regional name.

Critically acclaimed bluesy recording artist ZZ Ward announces her upcoming The Storm Tour in support of her new album The Storm. Having just finished up a national trek with Kaleo, ZZ returns to the headline spot as The Storm Tour kicks off on January 30th in Salt Lake City, UT at The Depot.

Mimicking Birds -- the Portland, OR-based group of songwriter Nate Lacy (guitar/vocals), Aaron Hanson (drums), and Adam Trachsel (bass, synth) -- today shared "Belongings," the third single off their forthcoming album Layers Of Us out January 26th (Glacial Pace Recordings). Lacy describes the new single as "a love song conveyed through the perspective that we are all here functioning as part of a larger entity. And that we are only borrowing the ingredients required to briefly witness this remarkable circumstance.

While he wraps up the Broken Crowns Tour with Common Kings, Matisyahu continues to keep his eyes firmly on the horizon as he tours in support of his critically-acclaimed sixth studio album Undercurrent.

Singer Kaleb Davies and Drummer Ryan Dawson of the Torrance, CA based band The 131ers found themselves caught in the middle of Hurricane Irma during what was supposed to be a vacation in Puerto Rico. They had to participate in preparation efforts with people they had just met and now call friends while they rode out the storm in a hostel.
 

In anticipation of the impending release of their 25th studio album, Living the Dream, classic rock icons URIAH HEEP will embark on a North American tour in early 2018.
