Riding the wave of their critically acclaimed 2015 album, Lost at Last, Jon Stickley Trio independently releases their 3rd full length album, Maybe Believe, on May 12, 2017. Jon Stickley Trio combines Jon Stickley’s rapid-fire flatpicking guitar with the sultry and wild, yet refined, melodies of Lyndsay Pruett on violin set over the deep groove of Patrick Armitage on drums.

All around Kidal, the Malian desert stretches in every direction. Endless horizons of rock and sand, barren and parched. This is the southwestern edge of the Sahara, the home of the Tuareg people, and the town of Kidal is one of their main cultural centres. Fought over, conquered and re-conquered, it remains the symbol of Tuareg defiance and hope, the spiritual home of a dispossessed people.

Local Natives premiered their new video for "Dark Days," a fan favorite track off their acclaimed third album Sunlit Youth, this morning. Montana based bluegrass act Kitchen Dwellers have announced the release of their second studio album titled Ghost In The Bottle due out April 21st. The band will set out on an extensive tour in support of the album including a number of festival dates and album release parties at Boulder's Fox Theatre on April 20th and Denver's Bluebird Theater on April 21st. The Boston born, now generally Northeast based, but ever on-the-go Dopapod has come a long way from their college basement, DIY party roots. While maintaining to be as grassroots as their humble beginnings, the group has earned praise from taste making critics like Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, Jambase, Relix, and The Boston Herald, all the while tending to their ever expanding community of devoted listeners.

A new Care2 petition from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, actor on the HBO series Game of Thrones and goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme, is calling on fathers to unite and empower women and girls by promoting literacy and education around the world.  Nearly 17,000 people have taken the pledge.
