Benyaro

"Hey, Camille" is a song I wrote on my honeymoon. My wife and I were in Laos, one of the most peaceful places on earth, and never has a song come easier. It's about our wedding, one of the greatest days of my life, and our love. I had been listening to a lot of The Coasters and this song aims to walk the fine line between soul/doo-wop and bluegrass, as they did. Jacob Rodriguez lends his tenor sax talents to the tune to make it what it is; a jammin', fun love-song.

Benyaro -- the indie roots project of seclusive Jackson Hole, WY musician who's worked with such artists as Gary Clarke Jr., Brett Dennen and Shovels & Rope -- announces the release of his third original full-length album, One Step Ahead of Your Past. The LP was co-produced with Danny Kadar (The Avett Brothers, My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses) and recorded at the legendary Echo Mountain Recording in Asheville, NC and Ben Musser’s home studio in Wyoming.
