Metallica Announce Second North American Leg of WorldWired Tour

They dropped a few hints this past weekend and now it is official... Metallica's WorldWired Tour returns to North America this Fall!  Following last summer's 25 date sold-out stadium run, this year Metallica is bringing the in-the-round production currently being seen in European arenas to the U.S.

Metallica's Minneapolis Concert Sells Out

Metallica's recently announced headlining concert at Minneapolis' brand new US Bank Stadium on August 20th has completely SOLD OUT. Pre-sale fan club tickets were made available earlier this week, followed by this morning's public on-sale, which sold out in less than 10 minutes. Metallica's show in Minneapolis will be the first rock concert at US Bank Stadium, the new home of the Minnesota Vikings, as part of the opening weekend festivities.

Metallica Celebrates Record Store Day With Release Of 'No Life 'Til Leather'

In celebration of Record Store Day, on April 18th, Metallica will release No Life 'til Leather as a limited edition cassette. The seven tracks were recorded in 1982 in Tustin, CA by the band's original lineup of James Hetfield: lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Lars Ulrich: drums, Dave Mustaine: lead guitar, and Ron McGovney: bass.
