On September 5, 6, and 7, 2019, a diverse and exciting curation of the world’s most remarkable guitarists will gather for the eighth installment of ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival, presented by Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Award-winning guitarist STEPHANE WREMBEL will release The Django Experiment IV on his own Water is Life Records on January 23, 2019, the 109th anniversary of the birth of French guitarist Django Reinhardt, who is widely considered one of the greatest musicians of the twentieth century. Wrembel, most known for his Grammy Award ® winning composition “Bistro Fada” from the Woody Allen movie, "Midnight In Paris," is one of the preeminent guitarists in the world specialized in the Reinhardt style. 

Prohibition Productions and New York Hot Jazz Camp are pleased to announce their partnership for the 2nd annual GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL to be held Sunday, April 8th (12pm to 1am) at The Players Club on Gramercy Park South.

2012 was a huge year for Stephane Wrembel. The guitarist released his fourth album, Origins, to critical acclaim; performed his original song "Bistro Fada" (the theme to Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris) at the Academy Awards; made studio visits to NPR Weekend Edition BBC Radio, WNYC and others; toured across the U.S.

Composer Stephane Wrembel hits the road this winter - bringing his jaw dropping talent, palpable musical rapport with His Band, and vivid and textured compositions to life on theatre stages along the east coast and Midwest. His current list of tour dates is included below, with more being added each week.Parisian born Wrembel - whose music embraces all styles and influence to create a truly signature sound - is being hailed as one of the world’s most dynamic and inspired players out there today.

Just back from a short European tour, French-born guitarist/composer Stephane Wrembel and His Band bring their jaw-dropping live show back to the U.S this fall. Winding up and down the east coast, Wrembel’s tour will return to Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD before heading south to Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA, among several other stops.
