Suwannee Springfest

Suwannee Springfest celebrates 20 years of kicking off the spring festival season at the beautiful Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. It takes place March 17-20, 2016 and we are thrilled to announce that John Prine will be headlining the festival with his debut appearance at the event!

The 19th Annual  Suwannee SpringFest gets underway this weekend, March 19 – 22, at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground (SOSMPC) in Live Oak, Fla.

On March 19-22, 2015, the 19th annual Suwannee Springfest kicks off the spring festival season at The Spirit Of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. A gem of a festival with beautiful early spring weather in a stunning natural setting, Suwannee Springfest is thrilled to announce a few additions to the already stellar lineup.

Suwannee Springfest celebrates its 18th year at the magnificent Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL on March 20-23rd. Festivalgoers can enjoy four days of camping and live music, arts and crafts, and a selection of great foods. Suwannee Springfest consistently features some of the world’s finest performers in Roots Rock, Bluegrass & Newgrass, Acoustic Blues, Singer/Songwriter, Cajun/Zydeco, New & Traditional Folk and other forms of American Roots music.

Suwannee Springfest 2013 was a rainy, thundery affair, but it still exceeded expectations for a supreme gathering of musical talent and a raucous good time. And hey, though it was rainy, as in torrential downpours with heart pounding thunder and lightning, the show went on (a damn good show) without much of a hitch.

The day after the spring equinox and just before the full moon, another not to be missed phenomenon will over take the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida- Suwannee Springfest will be in the air March 21st-24th. This boisterous yet family friendly hoe down under a canopy of majestic mossy oaks is a gem of a festival with a great lineup, spring weather, and a stunning natural setting.

Known for consistently booking some of the finest performers in new and traditional folk, roots rock, bluegrass and newgrass, and other American roots music, Suwannee Springfest returns in 2013 for its 17th straight year. Suwannee Springest will be held March 21-24, 2013 at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida and features some of the biggest names in the scene with veterans and up-and-comers alike.

Suwannee Springfest, held March 22-25 at the beautiful Spirit of Suwannee Music Park, Live Oak, Florida was the rainiest, most violently stormy festival I have ever attended, but it was still a great time and the show went on.  It rained off and on and then just on until late afternoon Saturday. After lightening struck by our tent and the crescendo of its thunder rang in our ears, the sun did come out in all its glory.

The 16th Annual Suwannee Springfest is kicks off in less than one month and today, promoters have released the daily stage and performance schedule. With more than 30 artists performing on 6 stages, the weekend promises nearly round-the-clock music from some of the finest string players around.
