On Friday, June 20, Denver's own indie-jam quartet Sqwerv headlined Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom, supported by Casey Russell (of The Magic Beans) and the DJ Williams Band. Doors opened at 7 PM for the two-set evening, with Sqwerv taking the stage to a eager bunch for the band's blend of psychedelic rock, funk grooves, and expansive improvisation.
