Los Angeles alt-rock project BLVD OF EYES returns with their electrifying new single “We Are Human,” recorded with legendary producer Ulrich Wild (Static-X, Deftones) and released via Australian label Xmusic.
Built around the message that the creative imperfections, emotional grit, and tangible effort of humanity are irreplaceable even in an AI-driven world, “We Are Human” is a defiant celebration of the beautiful flaws that define life — not a dystopian warning, but a rallying cry for authenticity.
BLVD OF EYES is an alternative rock project born in Los Angeles. Parisian-born vocalist Chloe Trujillo — known for her genre-blending influences (rap, metal, gypsy, blues) and early musical-theater roots — also happens to be the wife of Robert Trujillo (Metallica). New Zealand-native Mark Dalbeth, founder of the acclaimed Australian band Bellusira, relocated to the U.S., where he met Chloe in 2021. The two immediately began writing together.
Following their 2022 debut EP Heavy Peace, they released Buying Lies for the Truth Seeker, featuring Ray Luzier (Korn) on drums. Their formidable live lineup includes guitarist Kevin Hicklin and Chloe’s daughter Lullah Trujillo on drums. With 20+ shows under their belt and Kevin now part of the songwriting team, BLVD OF EYES is set to release their most powerful record yet, We Are Humans, followed by a headline tour across Australia.
