Billy F Gibbons and the BFG Band are set to light up The Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vermont on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 7:30PM. Tickets are priced at $45, $75, $85, and $125 plus tax and fees, and are available now via the official ticket link.
A cornerstone of American rock history, Billy F Gibbons is best known as the founding guitarist, vocalist, and creative force behind the legendary ZZ Top. With his trademark beard, sly humor, and unmistakable blues tone, Gibbons has shaped the sound of Southern blues-rock through classics like “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Cheap Sunglasses.”
In addition to his decades with ZZ Top, Gibbons has carved out a distinctive solo career through albums like Perfectamundo, The Big Bad Blues, and Hardware—each offering a unique journey through his diverse influences, from Afro-Cuban rhythms to rootsy Texas grit. Gibbons famously describes his philosophy of playing as guided by “the Three T’s: Tone, Taste, and Tenacity.”
Offstage, Gibbons is equally known for his passion for guitars, cars, and culture. His book Rock + Roll Gearhead chronicles his lifelong fascination with hot rods and custom axes, while his extensive art collection reveals a deep appreciation for African sculpture and global creativity.
On tour, the BFG Band features drummer Chris “Whipper” Layton—celebrated for his work with Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and The Arc Angels—and Hammond B3 maestro Mike “The Drifter” Flanigin, a Texas blues veteran whose collaborations with Gibbons and Jimmie Vaughan have earned wide acclaim. Together, the trio delivers a fiery blend of blues, boogie, and swampy rock that embodies the spirit of the Lone Star State.
