Tedeschi Trucks Band has also announced their 2021 documentary film, Learning To Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen, directed by Jesse Lautner, will premiere in its entirety exclusively on TTB’s YouTube channel for a limited time only. PRESS HERE to watch between November 11-16.

On Saturday night (November 8th), Tedeschi Trucks Band blew the roof off the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles with their performance at the Rock Hall’s Class of 2025 induction ceremony to honor one of their biggest influences, Joe Cocker. TTB’s set, with original Mad Dogs member Bobby Torres sitting in on percussion, featured Tedeschi’s stellar vocals leading on “The Letter” alongside Nathaniel Rateliff and then Teddy Swims joining for “Feelin’ Alright” followed by a group singalong – including additional special guests Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, and Chris Robinson – for “With A Little Help From My Friends” for a truly memorable moment to close out the evening.

Tedeschi Trucks Band previously honored Cocker and his legacy in 2015 at Virginia’s LOCKN’ Festival with an all-star tribute performance to Mad Dogs & Englishmen, one of the most iconic live rock collaborations in music history, 45 years after the original tour. With legendary keyboardist and original bandleader Leon Russell, TTB revived this landmark event, infusing it with their own blend of Southern soul, blues, and rock. Featuring original Mad Dogs members Rita Coolidge, Claudia Lennear, and Chris Stainton and a diverse group of special guests, including Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes, Warren Haynes, Anders Osborne, and Dave Mason, the stage often swelled to over 20 musicians, echoing the original tour’s grand, communal spirit. Ten years later, on September 12, 2025, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Leon Russell Present: Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’) was finally released on global streaming platforms, CD and vinyl. The new collection has been hailed as “absolutely thrilling,” “pure blues greatness,” “a soul-stirring, ambitious tribute,” “a must-listen” and “worthy of putting on repeat.” PRESS HERE to listen to Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN’).

In 2021, TTB released their documentary, Learning To Live Together: The Return of Mad Dogs & Englishmen, highlighting the 2015 reunion of the Mad Dogs for their star-studded festival tribute set. The film is a unique retelling of Cocker’s “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” tour that blends archival footage with new interviews and performance and rehearsal footage from the LOCKN’ set. For the first time ever, TTB are making the film available for free on YouTube this week only (November 11-16) in celebration of Cocker’s Rock Hall induction and TTB’s captivating honorary performance.
