Multi-platinum-selling, GRAMMY-nominated singer and actor Chris Isaak will kick off his 2025 holiday tour on November 29 and once again is teaming up with BISSELL Pet Foundation to spotlight Empty the Shelters, the country’s largest funded adoption event. The partnership will encourage fans in tour markets and across the U.S. to adopt during the December 1–15, 2025 event window, when participating shelters will offer reduced-fee adoptions to help pets find loving homes.
“I’ve been working with musicians and actors most of my life, so getting to bring animals on stage was a natural step up. I knew that they could be counted on to steal the show, and they always do! Partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation again this year feels like a great way to both celebrate the holidays and help get dogs and cats a home. It makes our Christmas show much more special—the pets get out of the shelter for the evening, and hopefully you will get to find a forever friend!”
BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national nonprofit working to end pet homelessness, created Empty the Shelters to remove financial barriers for would-be adopters and to give overcrowded shelters relief. Since 2016, the program’s quarterly national events have helped nearly 365,000 pets find families, with hundreds of shelters participating every cycle. Adoption fees are $70 or less, and pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. “We are so grateful for Chris Isaak’s commitment to bringing awareness to adoption and helping pets find homes,” said Cathy Bissell, Founder of BISSELL Pet Foundation. “Shelters are full of desirable pets of every size and age—many who have lived in homes, are house-trained, already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ready to become part of your family. Together, we can end the year by giving shelter pets what they deserve most—a loving family.”

Isaak’s holiday shows remain a fan favorite, powered in part by his Sun Records album Everybody Knows It’s Christmas, which blends originals and classics in Isaak’s signature, good-humored style. The album was produced by Dave Cobb and features original drawings created by Chris himself. Available on CD, vinyl LP, and as a deluxe version with bonus tracks, fans can stream and purchase Everybody Knows It’s Christmas here. The 2025 tour will bring that music back to stages across the Northeast and Midwest, alongside the adoption message he has embraced on the road.
