Young and Dead brings their rising, youthful take on the music of the Grateful Dead to Boulder’s legendary Fox Theatre on Friday, February 20, 2026. Featuring visuals by the Liquid JPEG Light Show, doors open at 7:00 pm with the show beginning at 8:00 pm. Tickets are on sale now.
A fast-emerging project made up of gifted musicians in their early 20s, Young and Dead has quickly earned a devoted local following since their debut in early 2024. Their shows channel the improvisational spirit, communal energy, and adventurous musicality that defined the original Grateful Dead, while adding a fresh, youthful perspective that is captivating Boulder’s next generation of live-music lovers.
With deep interests in improvisation and the shared magic of a live musical moment, the band approaches the Dead’s catalog with both reverence and curiosity—creating sets that feel familiar yet newly alive.
