One of the most respected singer-songwriters of the past five decades, John Hiatt has built a rare, enduring career defined by emotional honesty and masterful writing. Since his 1974 debut, he has released 26 acclaimed solo albums, plus a celebrated record with Little Village alongside Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe, and Jim Keltner.
Hiatt’s songs—more than 400 of which have been recorded by artists including Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and Iggy Pop—have become deeply embedded in American musical culture. His most recent studio album, Leftover Feelings, created with Dobro icon Jerry Douglas at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio B, continues a remarkable late-career run of inspired, soul-baring work.
