EVAN HONER ANNOUNCES 2026 IT’S A LONG ROAD TOUR

Evan Honer is heading out on his biggest headline run yet, bringing the It’s A Long Road Tour to the historic Boulder Theater on Monday, March 23, 2026. The performance will feature support from rising singer-songwriter Sam Burchfield. Tickets are on sale now HERE.

Known for his grounded charisma, emotionally direct songwriting, and a voice that blends warmth with grit, Honer continues to carve out a distinct place in the modern indie-folk landscape. As Rolling Stone notes, “Honer’s recorded music often leans toward the stripped-down, letting the emotion in his voice set a tone. But in a live setting, he pulls no punches.”

Evan Honer sets out on the 2026 tour following the release of his acclaimed new album, Everything I Wanted (Cloverdale Records). The project expands his sonic palette with strings, horns, pedal steel, and contributions from the Cloverdale Records community, marking a bold step beyond his acoustic Americana roots and into more eclectic, alternative-leaning territory.

The new album has drawn widespread praise from across the industry:

  • Billboard: “Honer excels at making the deeply personal feel universal.”
  • Paste Magazine: “A thrilling step forward… an attention-demanding anthem from its crunchy opening chords to the cathartic collapse of its finale.”
  • Melodic Magazine: “His grassroots style of touring has endeared him to fans across the nation.”
  • Whiskey Riff: “A strong addition to Honer’s catalog.”
  • Atwood Magazine: “A soul-stirring coming-of-age folk record… as beautiful as it is breathtaking.”
  • Independent Philly: “Indie, alt-pop, and folk artist Evan Honer is one to watch.”
  • Pop Break: “With an unassuming yet powerful voice, Honer’s songwriting is direct and honest.”
  • Pop Passion: “An introspective, heartfelt ballad… diving headfirst into vulnerability.”
  • KRUI: “With a steady stream of great tunes pouring out of him, Honer is going to be a fun watch for the future.”

Written and recorded in a Nashville-area garage studio he built himself, Everything I Wanted reflects a period of growth and grounding. After nearly 100 shows in 2024 supporting his previous record Fighting For—and years of touring sparked by his gold-certified breakout cover of Tyler Childers’ “Jersey Giant”—Honer has channeled life on the road into a fuller, richer sonic statement.

The 13-track album showcases Honer’s evolution as a songwriter and storyteller. NPR highlighted the single “Curtain” on its NMF playlist, and Garden & Gun recently featured Honer in a special “Back Yard Session.”
