Lineup Shift for The Flecktones — Sierra Hull Steps In as Howard Levy Rests
Béla Fleck & The Flecktones have issued an important update ahead of their Jingle All the Way winter tour. Due to an unforeseen health matter, master harmonica and piano innovator Howard Levy will not be joining the band on this run. While disappointing, the focus remains on Levy’s full recovery, health, and long-term well-being.
The shows will continue as planned, and fans are assured an exceptional musical experience. The Flecktones will be joined by special guests Jeff Coffin and Alash, with the addition of celebrated mandolinist and songwriter Sierra Hull for the December 2–14 stretch of dates.
Audiences will hear music from across the Flecktones’ catalog, including refreshed holiday material from Jingle All the Way — returning to the stage for the first time in fifteen years. Expect improvisation, warmth, and the genre-bending spirit that has made the group one of the most inventive ensembles in modern acoustic music.
