In honor of the festival’s milestone anniversary, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is excited to unveil 25 artists for 25 years — a celebratory lineup marking the festival’s 25th anniversary in 2026. Produced by the nonprofit Birthplace of Country Music, the event returns to State Street in Bristol’s Historic Downtown September 11–13, with the full lineup slated for release in the New Year. The beloved street festival continues to shine as one of America’s most cherished gatherings of Americana, bluegrass, country, folk, and roots music culture.
Last week, the festival revealed its featured headliner, Sierra Ferrell, igniting anticipation for what is expected to be one of the most memorable editions yet. Today adds to that excitement with 24 more artists — rounding the reveal to 25 performers for 25 years, each bringing their own sound and spirit to the anniversary celebration.
The initial 25 artists announced for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 2026 include:
Sierra Ferrell, The War and Treaty, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, The Del McCoury Band, Braxton Keith, Mon Rovîa, The Creekers, Maggie Antone, Hannah Dasher, Kruse Brothers, Darrell Scott String Band feat. Rob Ickes, Clay Street Unit, Madeline Edwards, Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines, Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers, Kruger Brothers, Larry Keel & Jon Stickley Duo, Scythian, Mason Via, Donna the Buffalo, Big Daddy Love, Holy Roller, Florencia & The Feeling, Reedy River String Band, and an exclusive one-time reunion by Acoustic Syndicate.
Since its founding, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion has grown into one of the nation’s most beloved music events — honoring the heritage of country and roots music while continuing to elevate new voices and evolving sounds. As the festival approaches its quarter-century mark, organizers emphasize that this anniversary stands as both a tribute to the region’s deep musical history and a look ahead to the next 25 years of creativity, community, and joyful sound.
