Eric Bibb Releases “If You’re Free,” Second Single from Forthcoming Album One Mississippi

Three-time GRAMMY-nominated blues icon Eric Bibb has released “If You’re Free,” the second single from his highly anticipated new album One Mississippi, arriving worldwide on January 30, 2026 via Repute Records. The project marks Bibb’s most ambitious musical statement to date and signals a bold new era for Repute Records as a fully independent, artist-driven label with complete creative and commercial control.

“With this song, I hope listeners are reminded that the comfort and security many of us take for granted are often connected to the suffering of others,” Bibb says. “It’s a call for awareness and a call for change.”

“If You’re Free” offers another glimpse into the sonic and emotional scope of One Mississippi, which arrives ahead of Bibb’s global tour beginning in spring 2026. Like much of his forthcoming album, the single blends blues tradition with contemporary urgency, delivered through Bibb’s unmistakable voice and storytelling warmth.
