With February already halfway home (today is February 16), Mountain Sun Pub is still keeping Boulder’s winter nights warm with live music through the rest of the month—anchored by a can’t-miss hometown favorite: Kings of Prussia.
A cornerstone of Boulder’s music-and-brew culture, Mountain Sun has long been one of the Front Range’s best rooms for intimate, high-energy shows—where the band is only a few feet away, the crowd is tuned in, and the groove feels personal. Even as the calendar flips deeper into February, the pub’s lineup keeps delivering reasons to get out of the house and into the room.
Leading the charge is Kings of Prussia, a Colorado-based Phish tribute band formed in 2018–2019 and rooted in the Boulder/Denver scene. The band specializes in recreating the authentic Phish experience with high-energy, two-set performances, extensive jam improvisation, and dedicated light shows—sometimes even nodding to Phish lore with theatrical elements like trampolines.
Kings of Prussia often feature Jason Barnes (guitar), Jack Marty (keys), Brian Adams (bass), and Zach Bulgarelli (drums/vocals), bringing the kind of tight chemistry and fearless improvisation that Colorado’s jam-loving crowds thrive on.
