Mumford & Sons to Headline Folsom Field in Boulder on June 6, 2026

Mumford & Sons will headline Folsom Field in Boulder on Saturday, June 6, 2026, bringing their arena-filling, globally celebrated live show to the iconic 40,000+ capacity stadium at the University of Colorado Boulder. The performance marks a major return to the region for the GRAMMY Award-winning band, whose anthemic blend of folk, rock, and arena-scale energy has made them one of the most influential live acts of the past decade. Known for transforming massive venues into communal, emotionally charged singalongs, Mumford & Sons’ Folsom Field date is poised to become one of Colorado’s most anticipated concerts of the summer.

The show will take place at the historic Folsom Field, home of the University of Colorado Buffaloes and host to legendary performances from The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Phish, Dead & Company, ODESZA, and more. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Flatirons and Rocky Mountains, the venue offers one of the most breathtaking concert settings in the country.

Presented by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains in partnership with CU Boulder, the event continues Boulder’s strong run of stadium-scale live music moments and reinforces the city’s growing status as a premier destination for large-scale, culturally significant concerts.

Long recognized for its natural beauty, countercultural roots, and deep musical heritage, Boulder is entering a new chapter as a destination for major live music events through an expanding long-term partnership between AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, the City of Boulder, and the University of Colorado Boulder.

In 2026, Boulder has experienced renewed momentum as a live music destination, including:
Disco Lines at Farrand Field (April 18, 2026)
Mumford & Sons at Folsom Field (June 6, 2026)
Tyler Childers at Folsom Field (July 18, 2026)
RÜFÜS DU SOL at Folsom Field (August 22, 2026)

Together, these moments reflect growing confidence in Boulder’s ability to host destination-level concerts that attract national audiences while remaining rooted in local culture.

Located just 30 minutes from Denver yet distinctly its own experience, Boulder offers what Strasburg describes as a “quintessential mountain town and gateway to the Rockies,” where visitors can hike the Flatirons in the morning, explore Pearl Street’s shops and restaurants in the afternoon, and attend a landmark concert at night.

ABOUT MUMFORD & SONS:
Mumford & Sons formed in West London in 2008 and quickly rose from small gigs to headlining festivals, winning Grammys, and topping charts worldwide. The renowned band will release their sixth studio album, Prizefighter, on February 20, which was co-produced and co-written with The National’s Aaron Dessner at his Long Pond Studio and features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. The new project comes less than a year after their album RUSHMERE, which debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. this past spring and fueled a sold-out global arena tour. Along the way, they’ve collaborated with legends like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell and Pharrell Williams, among others, building genuine creative partnerships. Live performance has defined their story, from global tours to community stopovers. Through creative changes and evolving sounds, the band remains driven by passion, continually finding new ways to connect with audiences.
