“Dubbuyuh-O-M-A-N,” sings the legendary voice of Tony Joe White over a thumping kick drum and bass line, meticulously arranged by desert disco DJ duo Flying Mojito Bros. The track, simply dubbed “WOMAN”, sets the tone as the opening number from the duo’s new album of Tony Joe White remixes, The Swamp Fox. “This is a perfect choice with which to kick off the album,” say Flying Mojito Bros, “as not only is it great, but it showcases the creative freedom we had to put into this project, splicing three separate, unheard reel-to-reel takes to create a complete composition before adding our own production.”
One of the “WOMAN” takes was a long-lost recording, unearthed by White’s son, archivist, and Flying Mojito Bros’ deep-cuts shaman, Jody White. The tape reel had been recorded over at some point—with the applicable tune appearing out from under that newer track—simply labeled “Woman Jam” in White’s handwriting. Seamlessly and funkily, Flying Mojito Bros pieced it all together, taking White’s ingredients from three different sessions, and possibly three different eras, adding their own secret spices, and cooking up a down-home disco track which brings together fans from every corner of the boogie spectrum.
Fans can stream or purchase “WOMAN” now at this link. Listen to previous releases of “Alligator Stomp” and “Makin’ Love is Good for You” and pre-order or pre-save The Swamp Fox before its March 13 release, right here.

Across five decades as a performer and storyteller, Tony Joe White—a.k.a. “The Swamp Fox”—left an indelible mark on American music. His catalog offers indisputable classics such as “Polk Salad Annie” and “Rainy Night in Georgia,” and his songs have been recorded by Ray Charles, Kenny Chesney, Waylon Jennings, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Elvis Presley, Dusty Springfield, and Tina Turner.
These two London lads have been operating at the intersection of desert rock, cosmic country, and modern dance music for over ten years, channeling classic American songwriting into disco, acid house, and forward-facing club rhythms. Celebrated for a sound that looks beyond soul and funk toward deeper Americana influences, they’ve earned praise from across the music spectrum – Live For Live Music named them “the most credible & inventive party people on the scene,” while Lauren Laverne, Diplo, and Phish have all publicly backed their edits and DJ sets. Their shows, built largely from original reworks and unreleased material, have lit up Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Pikes Ibiza, Stagecoach, and late-night festival stages worldwide, alongside residencies at The Social, Spiritland, and Nobu. In 2025, they released their debut original album, Just Passing Through, on Ubiquity Records, surpassing one million streams, landing Top 10 album recognition from KEXP, and selling out headline dates across the US. Upcoming highlights include Jam Cruise 2026 and the March 2026 release of The Swamp Fox, their collaborative album with Tony Joe White.
