Dark Star Orchestra has announced the first part of its 2026 Summer Tour, continuing the band’s decades-long mission of celebrating the Grateful Dead live concert experience. The run will bring the band to iconic venues, scenic outdoor stages, and beloved festival stops across the Northeast, inviting fans to let the good times roll all summer long.
With more than 3,400 performances under their belt, Dark Star Orchestra remains committed to faithfully recreating the energy, improvisation, and spirit of the Grateful Dead’s live shows, while offering fans a unique concert experience each night. The upcoming summer run blends intimate venues, large-scale amphitheaters, and destination events that highlight the band’s versatility and enduring connection with their audience.
The tour includes standout appearances at All Good Now Festival in Columbia, Maryland, a two-night stand at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, and a debut at the brand new ParkStage in Freehold, New Jersey. Fans can also catch the band at scenic waterfront stages including Buffalo Outer Harbor and Rock The Dock in Lake George, as well as a return to the historic grounds of Bethel Woods.

Dark Star Orchestra will support the Grateful Guitars Foundation throughout the tour, donating $1 from every ticket sold to help the non-profit’s mission to provide instruments for talented musicians seeking to carry on the tradition of jam band music and fund music education programs for underserved youth.
