Tortuga Music Festival 2026 Returns with Focus on Ocean Conservation and Sustainability

Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, produced in partnership with Live Nation, officially kicks off this weekend, returning to the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach for three unforgettable days of live music and ocean conservation. This year’s festival features powerhouse headline performances from Post Malone, Riley Green, and Kenny Chesney. During the weekend, Chesney will also receive the festival’s inaugural Ocean Legacy Award, recognizing his longstanding connection to Tortuga and his ongoing commitment to protecting the oceans. Limited weekend and single-day tickets are available at tortugamusicfestival.com.

Now in its 13th year, Tortuga Music Festival has grown into more than one of the country’s premier beachfront music events—it is a purpose-driven gathering dedicated to protecting the world’s oceans. The festival highlights the work of the Rock The Ocean Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on five key conservation priorities: sea turtles, marine mammals, coral reefs, sharks, and marine habitats. Over more than a decade, Tortuga has built one of the most comprehensive sustainability programs in live entertainment—pairing large-scale festival production with a clear mission to support ocean conservation. The festival just earned a 2-Star Seal with Oceanic Global’s Blue Standard, recognizing commitment to reducing harmful single-use plastics, responsibly managing waste, and implementing Blue Actions that further the comprehensive sustainability of festival operations.

Set directly along Fort Lauderdale’s coastline, the festival’s commitment to environmental responsibility is both symbolic and operational, shaping every aspect of the event’s design and execution. Tortuga’s sustainability initiatives are built around three guiding pillars: Reduce, Rethink, Restore. The festival utilizes eco-friendly, ocean-conscious energy solutions while eliminating single-use plastics and promoting sustainable practices throughout festival operations.

Throughout the weekend, fans can visit Rock The Ocean’s Conservation Village, an immersive educational hub where attendees can engage with marine protection initiatives, participate in hands-on activities, and connect directly with environmental experts. Since its launch, Tortuga Music Festival and its fans have helped raise more than $6 million to support scientific research, education programs, and advocacy efforts addressing the most urgent challenges facing our oceans.

Alongside its conservation mission, Tortuga delivers a one-of-a-kind festival experience, featuring three stages of live music set against a stunning beachfront backdrop. The full 2026 lineup includes Afroman, Graham Barham, Chayce Beckham, The Band Loula, Colbie Caillat, Ashley Cooke, Preston Cooper, Adam David, Russell Dickerson, Hunter Flynn, Flatland Cavalry, The Fray, Cole Goodwin, Solon Holt, Tyler Hubbard, Greylan James, Uncle Kracker, Mary Kutter, Lakeview, G.
