The Inspector Cluzo is a Gascony based Rock-Blues duo, created in 2008 by Laurent (Guitar, Lead Vocal) and Mathieu (Drums). The two met at their 1st year of Physics studies in Mont de Marsan. Since 2008, the band have released 10 albums via their self-run record label F.TheBassPlayer Records, they are 100% self-financed, family-based organized, and 100% DIY. They released their 10th LP, LESS IS MORE, in June 2025 on their own label, as they have done since the beginning of their career.

Less Is More was produced by their longtime mentor Vance Powell (Jack White, The Raconteurs, Chris Stapleton) in Nashville, the album was recorded live in just four days and mixed in three. It was ranked the 5th best album of 2025 by Rolling Stone (and the top French album), while Classic Rock UK Magazine also listed it among the year’s best rock releases. To date, Less Is More has sold over 10,000 LPs, driven largely by physical sales, as the band doesn't regularly promote streaming for clear ecological reasons.

The Inspector Cluzo has played more than 1300 gigs in 67 countries all around the world. They played festivals such as Fuji Rock festival (Japan), Pentaport Festival (South Korea), Lollapalooza (Brazil & Chile), Download (UK), Paléo Festival (Switzerland), Oppikopi (South Africa), Blues Fest (Australia), Shaky Knees Fest (USA), Hell Fest (France).

However, the band’s main activity is farming. They are organic professional farmers and run a 15Ha family farm called "LOU CASSE" (“the oak” in Gascon language) in Gascony, producing organic wheat and organic corn with their own free seeds. Non GMO, no hybrid seeds, and no chemicals or pesticides are used. They belong to a new generation of farmers that are into an Agro-Ecologic system challenging and fighting climate change for the new generations.
