Rachel Ana Dobken, Neal Francis Lead All-Star Jam for Sweet Relief in Asbury Park

Indie-rock artist & multi-instrumentalist Rachel Ana Dobken is leading an All-Star Super Jam this Sunday—as both a performer and music director—with Neal Francis, New Orleans' Preservation Hall Horns (ft. Ben Jaffe, Clint Maedgen & Revon Andrews), Blind Melon's Rogers Stevens, Karina Rykman, legendary music photographer / musician Danny Clinch & special guests. The show takes place this Sunday, April 19, at 7pm in Asbury Park, N.J., at Asbury Lanes, and is benefitting the Sweet Relief Musician's Fund and the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation's nonprofit community restaurant JBJ Soul Kitchen. Tickets / show info available here

(*Note: This event comes one day after the 2026 American Music Honors at the nearby Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Monmouth University, an event featuring Springsteen & the E Street Band, Dionne Warwick, Patti Smith, Dr. Dre, The Doors & a posthumous tribute to The Band*)

Acceptance, the latest album from beneift Rachel Ana Dobken (drums, guitar, vocals, keys), was co-produced by Erik Romero of The Front Bottoms and Paul Ritchie of The Parlor Mob in conjunction with Dobken. The record features guest appearances from Blind Melon co-founder & guitarist Rogers Stevens as well as Preservation Hall Jazz Band saxophonist Clint Maedgen. It pulls from indie rock, psych and soul influences—think Angel Olsen, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Beach House, boygenius, Rayland Baxter—while it charts a journey of authentic self-discovery

“Acceptance is a culmination of frustration, struggle, yearning and beauty that led me to the understanding that—whatever we are searching for, whomever’s love and approval we desire, whatever we seek on our journey—all answers come from within. From accepting and loving ourselves wholly for who we are, darkness and all.”
