Sweetwater Music Hall Announces Upcoming May and June 2026 Shows

Sweetwater Music Hall continues its spring and early summer calendar with a wide-ranging slate of shows in Mill Valley, bringing together reggae, jam, Americana, bluegrass, rock, community events, open mics, tributes, student performances, and benefit concerts at one of the Bay Area’s most beloved intimate music rooms.

Located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley, CA, Sweetwater Music Hall is an all-ages, wheelchair-accessible venue and registered 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization. Established in 1972, Sweetwater presents all genres of music while working to cultivate creativity, nurture talent, and make the arts accessible to all. Doors open one hour prior to show time. For more information, membership, or donations, visit sweetwatermusichall.org/donate.

The upcoming stretch begins Tuesday, May 12, with Tam High Rock Bands taking the stage at 7 p.m., followed Wednesday, May 13, by Caroline de Lone, Joe Endoso & Friends for an Americana night at 8 p.m. On Thursday, May 14, Sweetwater hosts the Bread & Roses 2026 Spring Benefit Concert with Ron Artis II and Rainbow Girls at 7 p.m., with a low ticket alert in effect. Friday, May 15, brings Sabbath Lives, a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, at 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 17, begins early with School of Rock celebrating its 12th season of bringing rock bands to the stages of Marin County, featuring performances by three Rock 101 bands and three Performance Program bands paying tribute to Beatles vs. Stones, Ozzy, and songwriting with all original music. That show begins at 10:30 a.m. Later that evening, Josh Zee And Friends continue their Sunday residency at 6 p.m. with no cover.

Augustana brings the “All the Stars and Boulevards” 20th Anniversary Celebration to Sweetwater on Thursday, May 21, with an intimate solo performance of the album in full at 8 p.m. Soul Ska follows Friday, May 22, with a night of ska and rock steady at 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 24, offers two events especially close to the Grateful Web wheelhouse. The Marin Bluegrass Sessions, a monthly open jam session, runs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with no cover, giving pickers and listeners a daytime community gathering rooted in acoustic tradition. Later that night, reggae legend King Yellowman performs at 8 p.m., bringing classic reggae energy to the Sweetwater stage.

Open Mic Night returns Tuesday, May 26, at 7 p.m., with performers invited to play two songs or 10 minutes each. Sign-up is available by email at openmic@sweetwatermusichall.org, and the event is free. John Craigie then brings two sold-out nights of “Help! The Lonely Beatles For Sale” to Sweetwater on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28, both at 8 p.m., with special guests to be announced.

Friday, May 29, brings Purple Haze, a tribute to Jimi Hendrix, at 8 p.m. The month closes Sunday, May 31, with Sol Horizon’s Bob Marley Tribute at 8 p.m., another reggae-centered night that should resonate with Sweetwater’s longtime roots-music audience.

June opens with Pacific Edge Voices presenting A Cappella Road Trip with Deke Sharon on Thursday, June 4, at 8 p.m. On Friday, June 5, Dark N Stormy brings a rock and jam night to Sweetwater at 8 p.m., followed Saturday, June 6, by Rash: A Tribute to Rush at 8 p.m. Shana Morrison & Caledonia perform Sunday, June 7, at 7 p.m., blending pop and blues in a room with deep roots in Bay Area musical history.

Open Mic Night returns Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m., this time with Matt Jaffe, again offering two songs or 10 minutes per performer with sign-up at openmic@sweetwatermusichall.org. On Wednesday, June 10, Third World brings reggae to Sweetwater at 8 p.m., followed Thursday, June 11, by A Communal Experience of Marin Lately, featuring author Patrick Heij, at 8 p.m.

The Samples play Sweetwater on Friday, June 12, at 8 p.m., bringing their long-running rock sound to Mill Valley. Hall Pass follows Saturday, June 13, at 8 p.m. with a rock and funk night. On Sunday, June 14, the Crossroads Showcase begins at 4 p.m., featuring Gate 5 Six, Strawberry Jam, Street Level, and Bubba’s Taxi, with tickets available at the door.

The reggae calendar continues Thursday, June 18, with Israel Vibration & Roots Radics, joined by Reggae Angels, at 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, brings Corduroy — The Pearl Jam Experience to Sweetwater at 8 p.m.

One of the most notable nights for Deadheads arrives Saturday, June 20, when The Anton Collection performs at 8 p.m. Renowned drummer Greg Anton and his new septet—featuring Angeline Saris, Mingo Lewis Jr., Stefanie Coyote, Jay Wilcox, Jake Temple, and Fletcher Neilson—will perform Anton’s catalogue of songs co-written with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. For fans of the extended Bay Area jam lineage, this evening connects Sweetwater’s intimate stage directly to the poetic and musical spirit that continues to ripple through the Dead community.
