This month, Grant Farm returns for a special four-show Colorado reunion run celebrating Tyler Grant’s 50th birthday. The run marks the band’s only shows since 2022, making the occasion a rare chance to catch one of Colorado’s longtime roots, Americana, and jamgrass favorites back onstage.
The Denver celebration lands Friday, May 23, at Cervantes’ Other Side, with Tonewood String Band opening on the patio at 8 p.m.
Grant, one of Colorado’s most respected flatpickers and a longtime presence in the bluegrass, jamgrass, and roots music worlds, formed Grant Farm as a vehicle for high-energy picking, deep grooves, road-tested songwriting, and the kind of musical conversation that thrives in Colorado rooms. Over the years, the band built a devoted following with a sound that connected the traditions of bluegrass and country with the improvisational spirit of the jam scene.
The birthday run begins May 21 at The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins with Violet Pilot, followed by May 22 at The Lariat in Buena Vista. The Denver stop at Cervantes’ Other Side on May 23 brings the celebration to one of the city’s most beloved live music rooms before the run wraps May 24 at McAwesome Fest in Castle Rock.
