Creamery Station continued building momentum with their recent Colorado tour and a debut performance at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom this past month alongside The Other Brothers.
The evening showcased Creamery Station’s signature blend of roots rock, improvisational jams, blues influence, and psychedelic exploration. Known for combining classic Americana influences with free-flowing rock, the band leaned heavily into exploratory jams throughout the night while balancing moments of melodic songwriting and high-energy peaks. Audience members packed the dance floor as the group moved seamlessly between original material and creatively reimagined covers.
Review by attendee Matt Petrillo: “Creamery Station put on an epic debut performance at Cervantes this month alongside The Other Brothers. The crowd was grooving from the start and danced the entire set away. From the cream hit singles to covers by Colorado's own String Cheese Incident, the jams just kept getting groovier. Their Billy Strings cover really showcased Dylan Kader's plucking on the mandolin and his father, Jim Kader, ripping a deep psychedelic guitar solo.
“‘I’ve never heard of these guys, but damn they are really good,’ was one quote I kept hearing in the crowd throughout the night. Don’s endless harmonica jams really set this band apart, bringing a taste of their own unique style. Hope Kader, on the vocals for the amazing cover of ‘Sixteen Tons,’ really had the crowd in awe! They clearly connected with the passion in her vocal delivery. Creamery Station wrapped it all up with their own blues jam, ‘Crazy Night,’ mashed up with a super high-energy cover of ‘2001’ featuring members of The Other Brothers sitting in. Never too much percussion, they took turns ripping drum solos in sync like they had jammed together many times before. The show was jam-packed with righteous riffs all night and clearly, this band is loved by its Colorado family. Make sure to catch this band any chance you get!”
