Zuffalo has officially released their third full-length album, Flock of the Town, available now on all streaming platforms, LP, and CD.
Built around live-off-the-floor performances and a spirit of collaboration, Flock of the Town captures the band’s blend of psychedelic rock, retro soul, Beatle-esque harmonies, and a mix between tight arrangements and improvisational movements. Recorded over the course of a week at Locust Ridge Studios in Baden, Ontario, the album finds Zuffalo translating the chemistry of their live show into a studio setting.
“Flock of the Town is our grooviest record yet, and the highest production we’ve achieved to date,” says bassist and vocalist Mikey Vukovich.
The sessions reunited the band with founding guitarist Sean Steele, who flew in from Western Canada to take part in the recordings. The album was engineered, produced, and mixed by Mackenzie Jordan, a recurring collaborator, who also contributed rhythm guitar and backing vocals throughout the record. Mackenzie’s involvement is crucial to the sound; his adept ear for sonic texture and character helped bring depth and personality to the recordings. The project was mastered by renowned Canadian mastering engineer Noah Mintz.
The record follows the success of lead single “Digging a Hole,” which has surpassed 10k streams, and album track “Bloom” was recently added to Spotify’s editorial playlist Modern Jam Band, introducing the band to a wider audience within the jam and roots-rock community.

Additional contributors on the album include David Celia on guitar, Steve Lavery on synthesizer and organ, and newest band member Daniel Honsberger, whose guitar work features prominently on the track “Tension.” Keyboardist and vocalist Kim Manning takes the lead on the album’s opening and closing centerpieces, “Morning Light” and “Bloom,” bringing her soulful vocals and songwriting to some of the record’s most memorable moments. Longtime drummer Eric Vanier contributed some fabulously funky drumming throughout the album and some lyrics in “Digging a Hole.”
While rooted in concise songwriting, Flock of the Town draws from many of the traditions that resonate with jam-band audiences: live ensemble interplay, big grooves, exploratory guitar work, and a commitment to capturing performances rather than constructing tracks piece by piece.
To celebrate the release, Zuffalo will host their album release show on June 5, 2026, at Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern, where the band will perform material from the album and capture the evening on both audio and video. Expanding from there, the band plans to tour throughout the Northeastern USA and beyond in the near future.
