Music Melts ICE Benefit Brings Music, Art and Know Your Rights Training to Denver

Off The Cuff will present Music Melts ICE!, a nonprofit benefit bringing together music, education, community and live art at The Meadowlark Bar in Denver on Wednesday, July 22.

The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with a Know Your Rights training led by the knowledgeable and experienced activists at Denver Justice Project. The program will offer attendees practical information about their legal rights and ways to support members of the community affected by immigration enforcement.

Following the training, the night will continue with sets of original music from Dunk Maxwell and Elliott Wachs & Commonality. DJ Bugs Honey will also create a live painting during the event.

After the scheduled performances, the stage will open for the traditional Off The Cuff jam session, giving musicians an opportunity to come together and close out the evening through collaboration and improvisation.

Admission is pay what you can, with all proceeds going directly to the Twin Cities ICE Relief Fund. The fund supports people in Minneapolis affected by Operation Metro Surge and the continued presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the community.

Those unable to attend can donate directly to the relief fund by using the QR code included on the event poster.
