For five days and four nights, Eldena in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania once again became the center of the international Psytrance community. From August 26 to 31, 2026, Indian Spirit Festival transformed the expansive festival grounds into a colorful world of electronic music, psychedelic art, creative workshops, and unique encounters.
With 25,000 guests from 67 countries, this year’s edition marked another highlight in the festival’s history.
With more than 150 national and international artists across six stages and areas, Indian Spirit 2026 presented one of the most diverse lineups in the festival’s history. International heavyweights including Astrix, Neelix, Vini Vici, Blastoyz, Ace Ventura, Berg, Ghost Rider, Omiki, Phaxe, Ranji, and Morten Granau delivered high-energy festival moments on the Sun Stage.
The Moon Stage brought together acts including Astral Projection, Avalon, Captain Hook, Electric Universe, GMS, Killerwatts, Tristan, and Zyce.
The festival’s other floors also showcased the full range of psychedelic music. The Mushroom Stage explored a harder and more experimental side of the genre with artists such as LSDIRTY, Dark Jochen, Acid Combo, Mentalecho, Psynonima, and Z-Cat. On the Chill Out Stage, in the Fire Tent, and on the new Nebula Stage, more relaxed, atmospheric, and genre-crossing sounds complemented the musical program.
But in 2026, Indian Spirit Festival was once again about far more than music. Elaborately designed decorations, walking acts, artist parades, LED parades, and spectacular fire shows created a unique atmosphere throughout the festival grounds.
A major highlight was the large fireworks display on Saturday evening, while various performances and stage openings repeatedly transformed the festival site into entirely new visual worlds.
During the daytime, there were numerous opportunities to experience the festival away from the dancefloors. In the Workshop Area, visitors could explore activities including breathwork, Reiki, didgeridoo, handpan, flowerstick upcycling, and creative Psychedelic Dino Painting.
The program was complemented by an extensive Yoga & Healing Area featuring different styles of yoga, sound meditation, cacao ceremonies, as well as massage and healing sessions.
Since 1999, Indian Spirit Festival has stood for the combination of electronic music, art, creativity, and community. The 2026 edition once again demonstrated why the festival has long since become one of the largest gatherings in Europe’s international Goa and Psytrance scene.
The combination of international top acts, extraordinary decorations, a diverse supporting program, and the unique atmosphere surrounded by the natural landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania makes Indian Spirit a festival that goes far beyond dancing.
From the first beats in the afternoon to the long nights in front of the stages and the relaxed hours spent between yoga, workshops, and the market area, the festival once again created a world of its own.
Around the Fire Place, visitors could also take part in juggling, balancing, flow arts, hula hoop, and poi activities. The festival therefore offered numerous opportunities to get actively involved and discover new experiences.
Following the successful 2026 festival, attention is already turning to the next edition. Indian Spirit Festival 2027 will take place from August 25 to 30, 2027, in Eldena. The festival will once again return to the natural surroundings of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for six days, inviting the international Psytrance community to come together and celebrate.
Presale for Indian Spirit 2027 begins September 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Further information about the lineup and program will be announced at a later date.
