Fresh off a busy summer tour that included stops ranging from Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Greenville, South Carolina, along with appearances at festivals including Oklahoma’s Terp Float Festival, The Steppers are setting their sights on an extensive Fall 2026 tour.
Based in Oklahoma City, The Steppers are making a name for themselves with their fast-picking, hard-driving and mind-bending psychedelic bluegrass. Blending bluegrass roots with the freewheeling energy of improvisational rock, funk and folk, Jake Tobey (guitar and vocals), Theran Lantz (mandolin and vocals) and Zach Bozeman (bass and vocals) have built a sound that gleefully ignores genre lines while honoring the traditions that inspired them.
Nowhere is that more evident than on their latest album, The Lights Are Always On. Released this summer, the band’s third full-length album captures its progression into a powerhouse trio within the progressive bluegrass world.
This fall, The Steppers will visit a mix of new destinations, including Fort Collins, Colorado, and Nashville, alongside familiar stops such as Asheville and Raleigh, North Carolina. In addition to headline club dates, the band will appear at Hillberry Music Festival in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival in Manteo, North Carolina.
Whether playing an intimate club, a bluegrass gathering or a full-fledged jamband festival, The Steppers remain dedicated to bringing their spirited brand of psychedelic jamgrass to audiences across the country.
