At 6,200 feet in the Sierra Nevada, steps from the ski lifts at Palisades Tahoe, Tahoe Live returns December 11–13 with its biggest and most diverse edition yet. The three-day winter destination festival brings GRiZ, Knock2, Chris Lake, T-Pain’s TEDDY PAIN DJ set, Madeon, Walker & Royce, Noizu, YDG, Mary Droppinz, Daniel Allan, WINK x nikko, KHØDA LEON and more to one stage at the base of one of North America’s most iconic ski mountains.
Following a 2025 edition that expanded to three sold-out days, Tahoe Live is entering its next chapter with a lineup that reflects the festival’s continued evolution. While last year leaned heavily into bass, founder Dustin Esson and the Tahoe Live team spent the past year building a broader musical experience spanning house, bass, melodic electronic, crossover and some of the scene’s most exciting emerging talent.
Yet the festival remains committed to the format that has set it apart from the beginning: one stage, three days and no set conflicts. There is no schedule to strategize, no artists to sacrifice and no decision fatigue. Fans can experience the entire lineup together, creating a shared, communal atmosphere that has become central to the Tahoe Live identity.
The 2026 lineup brings together some of electronic music’s biggest names alongside artists whose appearances at Tahoe carry particular significance.
GRiZ stands as one of the weekend’s biggest stories, marking his next solo Northern California headline appearance following his highly anticipated return to the region. The Detroit-born, Colorado-based artist made his Bay Area comeback last November with two sold-out solo headline shows at San Francisco’s Cow Palace. Since then, his only Bay Area appearance has been a GRiZTRONICS b2b with Subtronics at Outside Lands, making his Tahoe Live appearance a particularly notable return for Northern California fans.
“I think the last time I was in Tahoe, we went to a skatepark and I was trying to do flips into the foam pit. Unfortunately, I didn't become a professional skateboarder, but we're gonna be coming through with so much new music and more flips than a game of skate,” GRiZ tells Billboard.
Knock2 brings another major home-state moment to the mountain. The San Diego-born producer has become one of electronic music’s hottest names while remaining highly selective with festival appearances in his home state. Outside of Niteharts, Tahoe Live is expected to be one of the few opportunities for California fans to see him perform at home.
On the house side, Chris Lake provides a heavyweight anchor to the 2026 lineup. A defining force in modern house music, Lake has built an enormous following throughout Northern California and the Bay Area, while his addition signals Tahoe Live’s deliberate expansion beyond a single genre.
And then there’s T-Pain bringing his electronic alias TEDDY PAIN to the mountain, one of the weekend’s most unexpected crossover moments, placing the multi-platinum superstar in the middle of an electronic festival lineup alongside some of dance music’s biggest names.
The lineup continues with Madeon, the French electronic visionary whose cinematic productions and acclaimed live performances have earned him a devoted global following; Walker & Royce bringing their distinct flavors of house and groove; and rising acts including YDG, Mary Droppinz, Daniel Allan, WINK x nikko and KHØDA LEON, rounding out a lineup designed to move seamlessly across sounds and scenes.
Just as important is where it all happens. Set at the base of Palisades Tahoe, the festival grounds sit at 6,200 feet and are surrounded by Sierra Nevada peaks rising more than 9,000 feet. The stage is located just steps from the ski lifts, with lodging, dining and après-ski throughout The Village within walking distance.
Fans can literally walk from the ski trails to the festival, spending the day skiing or snowboarding before heading down the mountain for the music. After dark, lights, lasers and large-scale production transform the alpine setting, with the surrounding mountains becoming part of the show itself.
That combination has helped Tahoe Live emerge as a true destination event rather than simply another stop on the festival calendar. Arriving as ski season gets underway and outside the crowded spring and summer festival cycle, the event offers fans the opportunity to turn a weekend of music into a full winter getaway complete with skiing, snowboarding, après, mountain scenery and three days of electronic music.
For Esson, who grew up in ski culture and has spent years producing events in mountain markets, that connection between the music and the mountain has been central to Tahoe Live from the beginning.

That experience has grown considerably since Tahoe Live first launched as a two-day festival in 2022. After debuting with Steve Aoki, Louis The Child, Whethan and more, the festival moved to Palisades Tahoe in 2023, where REZZ and DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal) led its first edition at the resort. By 2024, Tahoe Live had grown to approximately 15,000 attendees over two days, welcoming Diplo, RL Grime, Loud Luxury, Disco Lines, Boogie T and more.
In 2025, the festival expanded to three days for the first time, with Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, Alison Wonderland, LSZEE, DJ Diesel, San Holo, PEEKABOO, Jessica Audiffred and others taking over the mountain.
Last year provided perhaps the strongest indication yet that Tahoe Live had become a destination in its own right. Fans traveled from 48 states to attend the festival, while lodging in The Village at Palisades Tahoe sold out well ahead of the event.
People weren’t simply going to Tahoe and happening to attend the festival. They were traveling to Tahoe for Tahoe Live.

Following last year’s sold-out three-day debut, Tahoe Live heads into 2026 with its biggest lineup, broadest musical mix and strongest national reach yet, while maintaining the intimate, single-stage format and mountain setting that have driven its growth from the beginning.
