The Red Clay Strays will celebrate the phenomenal success of their acclaimed third album, Grateful, with a hometown headline event on Friday, March 26, 2027, at Mobile, Alabama’s Regions Arena. The concert will serve as the Grand Opening of the state-of-the-art, 10,000-capacity Gulf Coast venue and will feature support from St. Paul & The Broken Bones.

The hometown celebration follows the release of The Red Clay Strays’ new album, Grateful, out now via HBYCO/RCA Records. Rolling Stone awarded the album four stars, calling it “their most expansive record yet.”
The band is currently in the midst of its extensive Grateful Tour ’26 arena run, which has already included performances at Boston’s TD Garden, a sold-out headline debut at New York’s Madison Square Garden and Vancouver’s Rogers Arena. The tour resumes September 26 at Bourbon & Beyond and includes upcoming stops in Fort Worth, Nashville, Atlanta and Las Vegas.
Select dates feature special guests The Revivalists, Travis Tritt, Sierra Ferrell, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith and The Saints, Wyatt Flores, Haley Reinhart and Brent Cobb.
2026 has fast proven a landmark year for The Red Clay Strays. In addition to their sold-out Madison Square Garden headline debut, the band recently made its second-ever appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing “Don’t Wanna Know” from Grateful.
The group was also named ACM Group of the Year at the 2026 ACM Awards, marking its second consecutive ACM victory following its 2025 New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year win. The band also hosted its inaugural Fan Fest in Rexford, Montana, and performed at major events including Stagecoach and CMA Fest.
Produced by Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb, Grateful features 11 songs that expand the band’s roots-rock sound while retaining the soulful vocals, gospel harmonies and Southern musical traditions that have defined its rise.
The album follows the group’s 2022 debut, Moment of Truth, which has been certified Gold by the RIAA, and 2024’s Made by These Moments. The latter included the band’s breakout hit “Wondering Why,” which has earned 3x Platinum certification and reached No. 1 on multiple charts.
For Grateful, the band reunited with Cobb, recording portions of the album at the producer’s home studio in Savannah and at RCA Studio A in Nashville. The Red Clay Strays consist of Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Andrew Bishop, Zach Rishel, John Hall and Sevans Henderson.
Among the album’s standout tracks is “People Hatin’,” while the official video for “If I Didn’t Know You,” featuring Matt Rife and Mariah Morse, has surpassed seven million views.
