PIERCY, Calif. — Reggae on the River will return to the banks of the Eel River for its 38th year, bringing three days of music, art, camping and community back to County Line Ranch in Piercy from June 25–27, 2027.
The Mateel Community Center has officially announced the return of Humboldt County’s iconic cultural gathering with one notable change: the festival is moving from its traditional place on the calendar to the beginning of summer.
The shift to June opens a new chapter for Reggae on the River, offering festivalgoers an early-summer weekend beneath the Humboldt County sun while preserving the community-driven spirit that has defined the gathering among the ancient redwoods for nearly four decades.
The immersive three-day experience will feature three distinct stages, including the Basscraft sound system, hosting live performances throughout the weekend. The festival grounds will also include family-friendly spaces such as the Kidz Zone, an expansive art gallery, diverse vendor booths and the Jah Mal Village, where artisans will showcase an array of original crafts.
Camping and access to river spots will once again be central to the Reggae on the River experience, giving attendees the opportunity to settle in for the weekend and enjoy one of Northern California’s most distinctive festival settings.
The 2027 artist lineup has not yet been announced. Rude Boy tickets will go on sale soon, with lineup announcements, early-bird access and additional ticketing details to follow.
