WinterWonderGrass has announced its 2027 Steamboat Springs lineup, with The String Cheese Incident and Trampled by Turtles leading three days of music in the Colorado mountains.
The 14th annual festival will take place March 5–7, 2027, at Steamboat Resort, marking WinterWonderGrass’ 10th year in Steamboat Springs. The lineup also features Kitchen Dwellers, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and special guests The Jerry Douglas Band.
Additional performers include Magoo, ShadowGrass, The Brothers Comatose, BoomBox, Hayes Carll, Bronwyn, Johnny Mullenax, Tray Wellington, Ben Chapman, DUG, Silas Herman, Water Tower, 65 North Pickers, Heads All Empty, Broken Compass Bluegrass, Jay Roemer Band, Liver Down the River and The Flattops.
Lindsay Lou will serve as artist at large, while Pickin’ on the Dead featuring Rob Eaton brings the music of the Grateful Dead to the weekend. The lineup also includes WinterWonderWomen, continuing the festival’s collaborative spirit and tradition of bringing artists together for unique mountain performances.
WinterWonderGrass will feature four stages, free pop-up shows on the mountain, a kickoff dinner at 10,000 feet, late-night performances and complimentary beer tastings from 2–4 p.m. each day. The festival blends bluegrass, roots, Americana and improvisational music with the mountain culture of Steamboat Springs.
A free show at the base of the Steamboat gondola is scheduled for Thursday, March 4, ahead of the festival’s official opening. WinterWonderGrass will also celebrate the lineup announcement with an event at Snow Bowl in Steamboat Springs on October 7.
