Turnpike Troubadours earn their first career entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week as “Plainsman,” their new collaboration with Zach Bryan, debuts at #45. The track, which is featured on Bryan’s new EP, is also #14 on both the Hot Country Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts and has received critical attention from Billboard, Pitchfork, Stereogum and many more.

The achievement is just the latest milestone for Turnpike Troubadours, who will return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for two sold-out shows on May 13 and 14, in addition to performances next year at Stagecoach Festival, Australia’s CMC Rocks and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. See below for the complete tour itinerary.

The upcoming shows follow the band’s latest album, The Price of Admission, released last year via Bossier City Records/Thirty Tigers (stream/purchase HERE). Produced by Shooter Jennings, the record debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts, as well as the Billboard Digital Albums and Current Digital Albums Sales charts, further cementing the band as an undeniable force. Released to widespread praise, Rolling Stone declares, “with Red Dirt as a genre enjoying its greatest popularity…The Price of Admission serves as a reminder that Turnpike is still the genre’s torchbearer,” while Spin calls them “a leading force in the gritty, authentic ‘Red Dirt’ country genre” and Whiskey Riff raves, “Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time.”

Since their 2005 debut, Turnpike Troubadours has amassed a massive following with more than 2.2 billion streams globally and over 1.7 million equivalent units sold to date. The band has released six studio albums, including 2023’s A Cat in the Rain, of which Associated Press praised, “they’ve returned with the kind of ferocity that feels destined to put them right back on that long-term upward trajectory,” while Spin proclaimed, “the Oklahoma group is better than ever.” Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and consists of Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).
