Bay Area non-profit Bluegrass Pride will culminate its month-long LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, Porch Pride, with a two-day virtual music festival featuring more than six hours of livestreams and performances by LGBTQ+ and allied bands, artists, and musicians. On June 26 & 27 starting at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT the organization will celebrate five years of Bluegrass Pride (BGP) with artists such as Crys Matthews, BOOJUM, Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Rainbow Girls, and more. Blü Egyptian are a young, new band from Chico, Ca in Northern California. They released their debut album on all streaming services in June and are touring throughout the summer. Since the beginning of the pandemic when the schools were closed, these high seniors spent the time rehearsing, writing songs and performing live streams on Twitch. They released a 4 song EP "Lötus" in January and have been playing steady gigs to cut their teeth and get ready for the road.

After nearly a decade of making music as The Faux Paws, the eclectic bi-coastal trio are making it official with the release of their debut album The Faux Paws, releasing via Great Bear Records (distribution by Free Dirt Service Co.) The trio’s contagious groove and feel-good melting pot folk music has been honed over ten years of playing together, and is the sound of three close friends—two of which happen to be brothers—who feel a musical kinship that transcends any stylistic limitations.
