13th Annual Hudson Valley Jazz Festival August 18-21, 2022

August 18-21 is the 13th season of The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival. This 4 day series places many area musicians alongside top names in jazz.  From Port Chester to New Paltz to Sugar Loaf to Acord to Warwick to Woodstock to Port Jervis to Greenwood Lake to Kingston.

The program is designed to help raise the profile of musicians deserving wider recognition. Opening concert is Thurs. Aug 18 at 6:30 PM  presented by "On The Lawn" in Sugar Loaf featuring The Hudson Valley Jazz Sextet with special guest Bob Magnuson.

The Bearsville Theatre in Woodstock presents guitar legend STANLEY JORDAN on Sat. Aug 20.

Featured headliner will be OZ NOY, with Anton Fig & Jerry Z. for a free outdoor event with an indoor rain backup spot,  Aug. 20,  7:30 PM. Presented by The Village of Warwick on Railroad Ave Green.

Unison Arts in New Paltz presents  2 local award winning keyboard / pianists Rave Tesar and Neil Alexander on Thurs and Fr. Aug. 18 & 19.  The festival presents a "Composers 4-um" featuring  Joe Vincent Tranchina with Eric Person, Robert Kopec and Peter O'Brien.

There are several  local artists making their first appearance at the festival including Bill Ware & The Upstate Allstars, Kaya Nicole, Slide Attack, Steve Raleigh, Gus Mancini and "Latin Jazz Siete" presented by The Town of Warwick.

The Rick Savage 4tet with ELIOT ZIGMUND will be at UpFront Gallery in Port Jervis.
