WinterWonderGrass celebrates ten years this coming March 3–5, 2023! Weekend passes and single-day tickets for the 10th-anniversary edition of WinterWonderGrass Colorado are on sale now.

What started as a one-day festival in Edwards, CO in 2013, grew into a two-day affair alongside Nottingham Lake in Avon, CO, and has since grown into the beloved three-day music and beer festival that now calls the beautiful town of Steamboat Springs, CO home.

According to founder Scotty Stoughton, "2013 was a hope, a dream, and some luck." He reflects, "the people came and came in droves to the first WinterWonderGrass. A bluegrass-focused, acoustic-driven music festival in the middle of the winter in Colorado may not make much sense to many folks. Still, it was just the medicine the Mountain Community craved, and they loved it." To Stoughton, it is the elements of winter that make WinterWonderGrass so special. In fact, "I quickly realized that the challenge of weather became an ally. Those willing to endure the elements for their medicine, to prepare for Mother Nature’s contribution, genuinely are the heartiest souls. The energy they bring, the commitment to the mountain culture, the kids, the grandparents, all for one and one for all. There is really nothing quite like it."

To mark the occasion, WinterWonderGrass Colorado welcomes the festival's original 2013 headliners, Greensky Bluegrass and The Infamous Stringdusters, as the headliners of 2023.

In addition to the 2023 headliners, the 10th-anniversary celebration welcomes the likes of Leftover Salmon, Paul Cauthen, Kitchen Dwellers, The Lil Smokies, The Lone Bellow, Neal Francis, Trout Steak Revival, Lindsay Lou, Kyle Tuttle, John Mailander, Big Richard, Tenth Mountain Division, Daniel Rodriguez, Pickin on the Dead, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Sicard Hollow, Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, Tray Wellington Band, Buffalo Commons, WinterWonderWomen, Mama Magnolia, Pick & Howl, Old Town Pickers, RiverWonderGrass All-Stars, and Saints & Liars for three unforgettable days of music and brews in the Colorado Rockies.

While many acts familiar to the WWG family return for this festival's 10th anniversary year, the festival welcomes Paul Cauthen, The Lone Bellow, Neal Francis, John Mailander, Tenth Mountain Division, Sicard Hollow, Tray Wellington Band, Mama Magnolia, Pick & Howl, and Saints & Liars for their official WinterWonderGrass debut.

Trout Steak Revival will play a free show at the base of Steamboat Resort to kick off the weekend's festivities, followed by the event's iconic Mountain Top Dinner* featuring two intimate sets by Big Richard, passed appetizers, a one-hour complimentary craft beverage tasting, and local cuisine. Tickets to the Thursday night Mountain Top Dinner are on sale now and available here.
