Telluride Bluegrass Festival Announces 2026 Lineup With Top To Bottom Emphasis On World-Class Pickers

From first-time performers to five-decade veterans, ask anyone on the Telluride Bluegrass Festival lineup what they’re most excited about in the new year, and taking the stage in Telluride, Colorado’s legendary Town Park will land near the top of every list. Today, festival producers Planet Bluegrass revealed the lineup for the 2026 Telluride Bluegrass Festival, returning to the San Juan Mountains for four days of music and community, June 18–21, 2026.

Leading the announcement are three artists deeply woven into Telluride lore: the dynamic, power-couple-led Tedeschi Trucks Band; Telluride Troubadour Contest finalist turned international folk mainstay Gregory Alan Isakov; and roots-rock firebrands Larkin Poe, who first appeared at the festival years ago under the name the Lovell Sisters.

Elsewhere on the lineup, names like Shakey Graves and Flatland Cavalry broaden the appeal, while the heart of Telluride’s bluegrass tradition beats strong through an impressive showing of string bands. Greensky Bluegrass, Punch Brothers, The Infamous Stringdusters, and Sierra Hull return alongside rising standouts AJ Lee & Blue Summit and East Nash Grass.

Watchhouse is set to deliver a special duo performance—another power couple moment—while bluegrass legend Peter Rowan brings his Walls of Time Band to the main stage. Fiddle fans won’t want to miss the pairing of Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, making Telluride Bluegrass 2026 a must-see for instrumental devotees. A full lineup is available below and at bluegrass.com.

If your plans weren’t already set, now is the time to rally your festivarian friends, share the news, and start plotting another pilgrimage to the San Juans for a summer solstice gathering like no other. “This year’s lineup is the greatest gathering of instrumental wizardry we’ve seen,” says Planet Bluegrass’s Craig Ferguson. “With the emphasis on gathering! Telluride Bluegrass is all about what happens when musicians, fans, and friends come together in this special place.”
