“Doei AIRBEAT ONE” echoed across the festival grounds at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning as the final beats thundered from the speakers of Germany’s largest electronic music festival spectacle. Over four nights and three days, 210,000 guests celebrated the 23rd edition of the mega festival in Neustadt-Glewe, setting a new attendance record. Visitors from all across Germany and more than 50 countries worldwide transformed the airfield into Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s third-largest city for 96 hours.

Under the theme “Welkom Netherlands,” fans were treated to a gigantic festival production featuring numerous innovations. Towering above everything was the impressive Mainstage, measuring 180 meters wide and 45 meters high, designed as a giant bright-orange windmill. Other stages at the four-day open-air event also visually embraced the AIRBEAT ONE 2026 destination theme. The Terminal became an Amsterdam-style club, while the Harder Stage showcased a massive lion’s head, the historic emblem of the County of Holland.

More than 350 DJs and artists performed across numerous stages, delivering over 465 hours of electronic music in all its forms. Many of the scene’s biggest stars made their way to northern Germany, including Scooter, Timmy Trumpet, Vini Vici, Will Sparks, and W&W. Techno took center stage on the Mainstage with performances by the three techno queens Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, and Lilly Palmer, as well as Boris Brejcha. Hard techno was represented by Holy Priest, while Dutch hardstyle icon Brennan Heart delivered hardstyle at its finest. And of course, the annual must-see Mainstage set by Neelix once again captivated the audience.

The Arena Stage featured some of the biggest international names in techno, including 999999999, Clara Cuvé, Kobosil, I Hate Models, and Schrotthagen. Fantasm’s hard techno set brought AIRBEAT ONE Festival 2026 to a powerful close.

One of the festival’s standout highlights was the completely new Forest Area. Nestled in nature and connected to the festival grounds by a bridge, this unique retreat and experience space offered a special atmosphere and distinctive sounds on The Face stage — ranging from melodic techno to house music — presented by star DJs such as Claptone, MEDUZA, Kölsch, Korolova, and Wade.

The Terminal stage was buzzing with energy thanks to performances by German dance music stars including Gestört aber GeiL, Le Shuuk, Plastik Funk, Die Gebrüder Brett, and Tiefundton. Legendary DJs such as ATB and Westbam further enriched the line-up in the tent.

Located within the VIP Camping Village, the Butterfly Stage featured classic dance anthems from Aquagen, Cascada, Da Hool, Mental Theo, and Alex Christensen. Between 10:00 p.m. and midnight each evening, party acts such as Die Atzen, Mia Julia, Isi Glück, and Frenzy kept the crowd in high spirits.

Fans of harder sounds were especially well catered for, enjoying a powerful dose of Dutch talent. Artists such as Angerfist, Anime, Paul Elstak, D-Block & S-te-Fan, Ran-D, and Lekkerfaces represented the “Orange” contingent, while Da Tweekaz, Dr. Donk, Harris & Ford, and Sickmode completed the line-up.

Presented by Indian Spirit Festival, the Second Stage hosted the crème de la crème of Goa and Psytrance, while also welcoming trance icon Paul van Dyk.

The newly introduced Festival Plaza was extremely well received by visitors, seamlessly blending the camping and festival experiences. The Plaza became a central meeting point, combining food offerings, bars, relaxation areas, and dancefloors in one location. Emerging artists also had the opportunity to showcase their talent on the new stage, The Cube.

Following a spectacular fireworks display at 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, which illuminated the skies above Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in orange, Dutch DJ duo W&W delivered the Mainstage closing set. Neustadt-Glewe and the entire region warmly welcomed guests from around the world and celebrated alongside them on Thursday, a day on which local residents are invited free of charge every year.

The grand closing fireworks not only revealed the dates for the next edition but also unveiled next year’s theme. The festival’s 25th anniversary will take place from July 7–11, 2027, taking visitors on a journey to “Australia.” To mark the milestone anniversary, AIRBEAT ONE will introduce a fourth festival day for the very first time. On Wednesday, previously reserved exclusively for campers, the festival will officially open with a special program. Advance ticket sales begin on July 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. via myticket.de.

Airbeat One GmbH, part of DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG, works exclusively with myticket.de for the sale of festival tickets.
