Boulder’s own B-Love continues to build momentum across the Front Range, bringing their message of love, unity, and high-energy funk to local stages — including an upcoming appearance at Mountain Sun Pub.
Rooted in groove and driven by an intentional mission, B-Love is dedicated to creating music that spreads love, positivity, and joy. Their goal is simple but powerful: connect with audiences in a way that leaves them uplifted and empowered. With a belief that music can heal, unite, and inspire positive change, the band has carved out a reputation for transforming rooms into communal celebrations of rhythm and expression.
The project began in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where founder Keith “Beattle” Price developed his rhythmic backbone in the Michigan funk scene, steeped in Motown soul and Detroit’s mechanical pulse. After time in Los Angeles refining his craft as a DJ and live performer — blending blues shows, jazz improvisation, and beat-driven experimentation — Beattle relocated to Boulder in 2013. Over time, a potent collective of musicians formed around that vision.
Today, B-Love’s core group features players with diverse musical backgrounds, joined by a rotating cast of passionate collaborators. The result is an ecstatic, interactive dance experience — part funk party, part soulful jam, and fully rooted in fostering a safe, loving environment where the audience becomes part of the energy exchange.

In addition to their Mountain Sun appearance, B-Love maintains a steady residency at License No. 1, the speakeasy beneath Hotel Boulderado in downtown Boulder. The residency takes place every fourth Saturday from 9pm–12am.
