"People in the World" is an anthemic track in the tradition of "We Are the World" and "People Got to Be Free" by The Rascals. Michael Bacon explains, "The idea came from when people would come up to us and give praises to The Bacon Brothers. I was never sure how to respond, so my generic reply was, 'We need more people in the world like you!' This made me think, and I genuinely believe this sentiment. I asked Mare to contribute some lines, then more, and eventually, it evolved into a true duet. She couldn’t sing a line that wasn’t perfect!"
