Dark Shadow Recording artist and award-winning Bluegrass virtuoso Becky Buller releases her highly anticipated 13-track record, Distance and Time.

Produced by 2020 IBMA Sound Engineer of the Year Stephen Mougin and recorded at Dark Shadow Recording, the album features 11 songs all penned or co-penned by Buller as well as two covers. Distance And Time is now available HERE on your preferred digital platform and “continues demonstrating not only sharp musical charm but mass appeal.” (American Songwriter)

Packed full of collaborations with decorated musicians, songwriters and artists, Distance and Time “doesn’t require turning pages, but you’ll find that you’re eager to hear the next song, then the next, to meet some new characters and learn what you can from the roads they’re walking.” (No Depression)

In celebration of the release, Buller will be LIVE on WSM AM’s Coffee Country & Cody this morning at 8:42am CST. You can also view the entire performance live on Circle TV.

Buller sat down with Kyle Cantrell of SiriusXM’s Bluegrass Junction to discuss Distance and Time for their Track by Track program. The entire interview is now available to stream on the SXM Bluegrass Junction on demand platform.

American Songwriter exclusively premiered Buller’s “You Come Around” (co-written with Jeff Hyde and John Pennell) before its release stating, “Banjo and violin intertwine around grave emotions ⏤ erupting into a ravaging whirlwind on the chorus.” View the entire exclusive HERE.

The music video for “The Barber’s Fiddle” was produced by Mougin of Dark Shadow Recording and tells a story of Bluegrass music being passed on through generations. Buller’s sophomore 2020 single and reimagined NEEDTOBREATHE cover, “More Heart, Less Attack” features an acoustic and folk driven spin on the Christian Rock smash. Most recently, Buller released gospel song “Tell The Truth (Shame The Devil)” which is a collaboration with the Grammy award-winning group, The Fairfield Four.

A celebrated musician and ten-time International Bluegrass Association Award-winning artist, Buller made history as the first ever artist to win in both instrumental and vocal categories at the 2016 IBMA Awards, as well as being the first female to ever win IBMA’s Fiddle Player of the Year. Since 2018, Becky has moonlighted with the all-female supergroup, The First Ladies of Bluegrass, which has been recently recognized at the Country Music Hall of Fame with their own exhibit. A distinguished and award-winning songwriter, Buller has inked tracks for Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Josh Williams, the Travelin’ McCoury’s and more.
