Greensky Bluegrass welcomed two acclaimed guests during the band’s September 3 performance at Maymont in Richmond, Virginia.
Banjo virtuoso Béla Fleck joined the band for “Living Over” and “Fixin’ to Ruin,” while celebrated fiddler Michael Cleveland appeared during “Worry for You” and “Leap Year.”
Greensky Bluegrass continues on the road throughout the fall, with upcoming stops including The Plaza Live in Orlando, two nights at The Exchange in Roanoke and Avondale Brewing Company in Birmingham. The band will close out 2026 with two New Year’s Eve shows at Chicago’s Salt Shed on December 30 and 31, followed by two hometown performances at Kalamazoo’s Wings Event Center on January 1 and 2.
In April, the band released the documentary film Find Ourselves Lost: The Iceland Sessions. The film captures Greensky Bluegrass recording 2024’s The Iceland Sessions in rural North Iceland, following the band’s creative process, struggles and triumphs.
The documentary arrived on the heels of the group’s album XXV, a retrospective on its career featuring contributions from Nathaniel Rateliff, Billy Strings, Sam Bush, Aoife O’Donovan and more.
