Guitarist and singer Bella Rayne continues to make her mark on the jam-band scene, building on her growing connection to the Grateful Dead community while introducing audiences to her own original music. With two singles, "Higher Ground" and the newly released "The Fool," Rayne is taking another step forward as her band earns opportunities alongside established names in the improvisational music world.

The Bella Rayne Band recently opened for Galactic at the Mondavi Center and The Fillmore in San Francisco, adding another significant milestone to a busy stretch of performances.

Rayne also took part in a memorable celebration of San Francisco's countercultural history, performing aboard a moving float during the Haight Street Halloween Parade. Her float traveled directly ahead of the legendary Furthur Bus during its farewell procession, connecting a new generation of musicians with the psychedelic traditions that helped shape the Bay Area music scene.

That connection runs deeper than a single parade appearance. Earlier this year, Rayne organized and performed her own tribute to Bob Weir at The Guild Theatre, honoring the late Grateful Dead guitarist and singer whose musical legacy continues to inspire generations of performers.

Rayne and her band also supported Grahame Lesh and the Terrapin Roadshow during the summer, further strengthening their ties to the extended Grateful Dead musical family.

Now, Rayne is bringing that momentum into a new chapter focused on original material. Her latest single, "The Fool," follows "Higher Ground," which arrived earlier this year. Together, the two releases offer listeners an opportunity to discover the music she is creating beyond the Grateful Dead-inspired performances that have introduced her to many fans.

More opportunities are on the horizon. Rayne has been announced as an Artist at Large aboard Jam Cruise 23, while the Bella Rayne Band is also scheduled to perform at Suwannee Amp Jam in 2027. Additional appearances and bookings are expected as the band's schedule continues to develop.

For Rayne, the growing support of the Deadhead and jam-band communities has become an important part of her journey. From celebrating Bob Weir's legacy and sharing stages with musicians connected to the Grateful Dead to opening for Galactic and releasing original songs, she is finding opportunities to introduce her music to audiences who have long embraced improvisation, collaboration, and musical discovery.

As those opportunities continue to grow, "The Fool" and "Higher Ground" mark an important part of the story: Bella Rayne is not only celebrating the music that inspired her, but creating music of her own.
