Blackberry Smoke on the Rattle, Ramble & Roll Tour
The road rolls ever onward for Blackberry Smoke, who will continue their ambitious “Rattle, Ramble & Roll Tour” deep into next year with a new run of dates that stretches across the South, Midwest, and East Coast. From three nights at Maryville’s The Shed to major rooms like Dallas’ Majestic Theatre, Tulsa’s Cain’s Ballroom, and Kansas City’s Uptown Theater, the beloved American rock band is gearing up for one of their most extensive tour cycles in years.
The newly added shows go on pre-sale Thursday, November 20 at 10am local time, with general on-sale beginning Friday, November 21 at 10am. Members of the band’s official fan club will receive early access tomorrow, November 18 at 10am. Full details are available at the band’s website.
Before the new leg begins, the group will close out the year with their inaugural High Tide Getaway festival in Cancun, December 6–10. Shortly afterward, frontman Charlie Starr launches a special January solo tour.
The upcoming dates celebrate the release of Rattle, Ramble & Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke – Volume One, out now on the band’s own 3 Legged Records. The compilation highlights fan favorites from across their catalog, including “Waiting For The Thunder,” “Good One Comin’ On,” “Sleeping Dogs,” “The Whippoorwill,” and “One Horse Town,” alongside two brand-new tracks: “We Got Company” and “Southern Child (Live).” Stream or purchase the album at the provided link.
Reflecting on the release, Starr shares: “Rattle, Ramble and Roll… is a collection of material that has been the heartbeat of our journey. Next year marks our 25th anniversary, and it just feels right to celebrate by looking back at where we’ve been. We want to honor our brother Brit and the music and memories we made with him along with the legacy he left. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for riding along with us all these years… Here’s to the past, the present, and the road ahead.”
Since forming in 2001, Blackberry Smoke have become one of America’s most respected independent rock bands, famously becoming the first independent act to top Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. They are among a rare circle of artists to have reached #1 on both the Country Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts, standing alongside names like Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgraves, Beyoncé, and Willie Nelson.
The band’s most recent studio album, Be Right Here (2024), produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb, debuted at #1 across multiple charts — Current Country Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Current Rock Albums. Critics praised the record’s authentic songwriting and dynamic musicianship, with Premier Guitar calling it “what happens when real musicians tell authentic stories,” while Relix noted the album is “what Blackberry Smoke has been heading toward all along.”
Beyond the music, the group remains deeply committed to philanthropy. Through the Brit Turner Family Fund, Blackberry Smoke have raised more than $2 million for childhood cancer research via meet-and-greets, benefit rides, memorabilia auctions, and more. This summer, the band donated over $100,000 to CURE Childhood Cancer and the Brit Turner Family Fund in honor of their late drummer.
