Today we pause with heavy hearts to honor and remember Bob Weir, a founding member of the Grateful Dead, a lifelong seeker, and one of the most enduring voices in American music.
Bob’s rhythm guitar, fearless songwriting, and unwavering commitment to exploration helped shape not only the Grateful Dead, but generations of musicians, fans, and communities who found meaning in the spaces between the notes. His music taught us how to listen, how to wander, and how to stay curious.
We extend our deepest love and condolences to Bob’s family, bandmates, and the vast global community that walked this long, strange trip alongside him.
