Bob Weir's Birthday Celebration on FANS

FANS is pleased to announce a marathon birthday celebration for Bob Weir, the legendary Grateful Dead rhythm guitarist and vocalist. The free event will take place on Weir’s 73rd birthday, Friday, October 16, with proceeds to support the National Independent Talent Organization.

NITO’s mission is to help the independent artists, managers, talent agents, event staff, and the entire independent live music ecosystem get back to bringing you the show. Currently, NITO is advocating in Congress the passage of the RESTART, Save Our Stages. and HITS Acts as well as supporting ExtendPUA.org, amongst other bills which would benefit the independent music industry community.

Tune in for legendary song selects from the Grateful Dead’s final five “Fare Thee Well” shows in Santa Clara, California and Chicago, Illinois, performances by Dead & Company, RatDog, Bob Weir and Wolf Bros, Phil Lesh & Friends, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Bobby & Phil Duo, and many more, along with well wishes from some of Weir’s closest friends and musical collaborators.
