This year, Bonfire Entertainment will bring its beloved blend of roots music, river culture, and mindful living to the heart of downtown Salida with Smalltown For The Cause, taking place September 19-20, 2025 in the tree-lined expanse of Riverside Park. Carrying forward the spirit of Campout For The Cause—“New Venue. More Music. Same Soul.”—the 2025 edition backs right up to the Arkansas River, offering attendees a uniquely intimate Colorado mountain-town experience.
Anchoring the weekend are two headlining sets from Colorado favorites Elephant Revival (Friday & Saturday). They’re joined by an eclectic roster spanning electro-folk, bluegrass, soul, and jam-grass, including Moontricks, Clay Street Unit, Lindsay Lou, Kat Factor (of Gone Gone Beyond), WinterWonderWomen, Pickin’ on the Dead, Bonfire Dub, LVDY, Ramona, Magoo, Silas Herman & The Tone Unit, Leadville Cherokee, Deer Creek Sharpshooters, and The Little Moon Travelers.
Daytime programming balances the tunes with river-view wellness. Renowned instructors Mary Beth La Rue, Steph Winsor, Lisa Shanken, Heath Perry, Alana Mitnick, Yoga Olas, Tyler Trafficianti, and Out Here Yoga will lead sunrise and mid-morning yoga flows beneath the cottonwoods before the music takes center stage.
Riverside Park doubles as an adventure basecamp: fans can surf the Scout Wave mere steps from the stage, hike or bike single-track right out of the gate, raft into the show, wander to cafés and galleries, or pedal a mile to camp at South Ark Neighborhood. The compact footprint keeps small-town charm front and center while amplifying the festival’s trademark sense of community and environmental stewardship.
